Florien Rovers has made an effort to write as clearly and transparently as possible in the Terms & Conditions below. Should however anything be unclear, please don’t hesitate to send an email with your question.

  • When ordering rings or bracelets it is important to know your correct size. Measuring with a ruler or caliper is not accurate enough.
  • Florien Rovers offers the possibility to order a ring gauge to measure your ring size at home and has written a guideline about how to determine the correct ring size. In all cases, the customer is responsible for ordering the correct ring size or bracelet size, and is aware that a ring or bracelet size can change over time when ageing and can depend on changes in body temperature.
  • If resizing is required, Florien Rovers offers a resizing service at the cost of €45. This service does not apply to jewelry that has been bought elsewhere.
  • You are responsible for providing the correct billing and shipping information.
  • After placing an order, you will receive an automatic confirmation email with the order details, where you can once more check if all the information you provided is correct.
  • In case a wrong delivery address has been filled in, you agree to contact Florien Rovers as soon as possible in writing via email, so she can correct this in a timely manner. This way, you can avoid loss or payment for return costs to get the order back to Florien Rovers and costs for reshipping it to the  correct address.
  • Florien Rovers offers “ready to ship” pieces and “made-to-order” pieces. It is clearly stated in the details tab of the product page of each jewelry piece which of these applies.
  • Pieces that are “ready to ship” will be send within a maximum of two days after ordering.
  • Many of Florien Rovers pieces are handmade to order. This means that each piece is unique and made especially for the client, right after he or she has placed an order.
  • On all made-to-order piece, the estimated production time is clearly stated in the details tab of the product page. Usually, this is 2-3 weeks or 3-4 weeks, depending on the design.
  • You agree to consult the estimate provided on each individual product listing for specific production times relevant to each piece, before ordering. If you need a piece before a specific date, please send an email before ordering to ensure this will be possible and to avoid any disappointment. 
  • Every effort will be made to have your piece to you as quickly as possible. Please note that production times are an approximate guide and are subject to change or delay.

Custom orders 

For custom orders, Florien Rovers will send you a personal quote. Upon agreeing, the production process starts: Florien Rovers orders the material needed to create your jewelry. You will always be given an estimated production time. When your order is finished, Florien Rovers will notify you and sends you your invoice, payable via bank transfer or an online payment request. With your invoice, you will be given the choice to either pick up your order in Rotterdam or have it sent to you free of charge. 

Please note there is a payment term of 14 days – however you can feel free to schedule your pickup date on a later date.

Free and fast
Florien Rovers offers free worldwide express shipping on all jewelry orders. Order are sent via DHL Express. This service aims to deliver your package worldwide within 2-3 business days.

Upon dispatch, you will receive an email notification with estimated delivery time and tracking details. 

Every purchase is insured during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to your specified delivery address. We require a signature for any goods delivered.


  • Florien Rovers is not responsible for any delay caused by the shipping service. 
  • Please note that shipping time does not include the production time.
  • Prices mentioned at Florien Rovers online shop are already including 21% VAT.
  • Occasionally, depending on the recipient country and the relevant import laws, duties and taxes may be payable. As the recipient, the client is liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival.
  • Should you wish to return or exchange a piece, notify by way of an email within 14 days after receiving the item concerned.
  • Return costs, such as packaging and shipment costs, will not be reimbursed by Florien Rovers. You agree to return the product with a tracking code, so there can be no confusion about the whereabouts and delivery of the package.

  • A refund will be done by Florien Rovers within 14 days after receiving the returned item.
  • Returns and exchanges are excepted only on “Read to ship” pieces. This caption is clearly mentioned in the details tab of the product page.
  • Florien Rovers not except returns or exchanges on custom made pieces. These pieces are made especially for one specific customer, tailored to his or her particular wishes and needs.
  • In the case of custom made jewellery (i.e. specifically designed especially for one specific customer, a specific ring size, personal engravings) the customer renounces the right to exercise the 14-day withdrawal right when ordering a piece. 
  • In the case of hygienic jewelry such as earrings, the customer renounces the right to exercise the 14-day withdrawal right when ordering a piece.
  • Florien Rovers reserves the right to deny any returns and exchanges that are unreasonable.
  • Florien Rovers takes great care to ensure that all imagery of the products is a fair representation of the scale, finish and color of a piece.
  • Dimensions are supplied on every product listing. Please take care to ensure your full understanding of the scale prior to purchasing.
  • If you require further imagery, please reach out to Florien Rovers and she will happily supply this where possible.
  • Florien Rovers fine jewelry is entirely handmade and therefore there will always be some variations between pieces.
  • Florien Rovers pieces are fine and delicate and should be handled and worn with care. Please see the Care Note for more information on this.
  • When buying jewelry at Florien Rovers, you agree on following the guidelines described in the Care Note. Normal wear and tear on jewelry items is not considered a manufacturing fault.
  • If you feel a piece of jewelry is faulty, or if breakage has occurred, please contact Florien Rovers and describe the nature of the problem, accompanied with pictures. The piece will be assessed in line with our warranty guidelines.  

Florien Rovers covers the cost of reasonable repairs under normal wear for the first six months after purchase. Normal wear is defined by wear that is in line with the detailed instructions in our Care Note. If a piece shows signs of improper care, or is damaged in a way resulting from something other than normal wear, i.e accidental damage, she will repair the piece at cost. An estimate of the repair will be given prior for approval by the customer. In the case that a piece requires repair, customers will be responsible for return shipping costs.

  • After 6 months, Florien Rovers will repair pieces at cost. An estimate of the repair will be given prior to the repair for approval by the customer.
  • Florien Rovers offers stone tightening (in an undamaged ring) at no charge during the first 2 years after purchase, and offer replacement of loosened earring butterflies or clasps at no charge.
  • Please note that if any other jeweler undertakes work on one of our pieces, including resizing or repairs, our warranty will be voided. Florien Rovers strongly recommends contacting her for repairs and resizes. She does not take any responsibility for repairs or resizes undertaken by other jewelers, or for the piece once it has been resized or repaired by another jeweler.
